EXPERIENCE :

12 years of working experience in a relevant field. Good knowledge of civil engineering and construction. Experience in working with contractors in a refinery setting.

QUALIFICATION :

Three year Diploma in a technical discipline.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1) Directly control and supervise maintenance civil activities and soft trade activities such as scaffolding, insulation and painting works.

2) Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner to optimize manpower and cost. Supervise and control civil contractors’ performance in works such as scaffolding and insulation.

3) Ensure that all work is done as per regulations and requirements. Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to service all company buildings. Follow up on maintenance services required within all the contractors.

4)Review all contractor invoices before processing. Update contractors work list. Monitor contractors and ensure they apply the safety rules at all times.

5)Issue completion work certificate as work is completed and accepted. Ensure contractor work quality and standards. Perform any other job related duties as requested by immediate supervisor/ manager.
